Mladen Brkic has built a global career transforming and growing businesses into efficient, profitable operations. He currently serves as president of Ultra I&C’s Mission Solutions business, leading strategic growth across mission optimization, ruggedized processing, encryption and AI-enhanced applications. He also serves as CFO, steering innovation and financial health.
Before Ultra I&C, he was CFO and VP of supply chain at Maxar’s Space Infrastructure unit, helping drive its transformation. Earlier roles include CFO of GKN Aerospace North America and 14 years at GE in finance across Europe, the Americas and Russia/CIS. He completed GE leadership programs in financial management and executive development and holds a BA in finance and marketing from the University of Kentucky.
Chief Communications Officer
Amanda Rudolph serves as chief communications office for Ultra I&C, overseeing the company's communications strategy, media relations, marketing, branding, and digital initiatives.
Previously, she was director of marketing communications at BAE Systems, Inc., with roles across multiple company sectors. Her career includes positions at Raytheon Missile Systems, where she managed branding, advertising, international communications, and high-profile missile defense public relations, achieving award-winning results in media engagement and integrated marketing campaigns. She has also executed grassroots outreach for programs under the Army Chief of Staff and managed bilateral service communications for the Army's Strategic Plans, Concepts and Doctrine Division at the Pentagon.
Rudolph holds a master's degree from Georgetown University, a bachelor's degree from Duquesne University, and leadership certification from Cornell University.
Chief Product Officer, Mission Software
Jill Daiber is chief product officer for Mission Solutions at Ultra I&C, where she leads product strategy, roadmaps and delivery across the business. She brings more than 40 years of experience in technology and software, with a focus on building products that meet customer needs, support market demand and drive business growth. In her current role, Jill works across product management, engineering, operations, sales and customer engagement to turn product vision into practical outcomes.
Jill has been with Ultra I&C for 25 years, holding leadership and technical roles including president of Mission Solutions, senior vice president of programs, director of engineering, engineering manager, project engineer and software engineer. Prior to joining Ultra I&C, she held roles at Lockheed Martin, Camber Corp., Rediffusion Simulation and Exxon Mobil Corp. Jill holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and an MBA in program management, and she is a certified Project Management Professional, Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Product Owner.
Vice President, Mission Software
Jason Sterling is vice president and general manager of Mission Software at Ultra I&C, where he leads program execution, product line performance and strategic initiatives across the business. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across military and private sector roles, with a background spanning systems engineering, program management, business development and executive leadership in C5ISR and air defense.
Jason’s career includes senior leadership roles at HDT Expeditionary Systems, BOH Environmental, Cubic Corp., BAE Systems and Northrop Grumman. His experience spans C5ISR and integrated systems, missile defense, space, engineering services, tactical fires and air defense programs of record for Department of Defense customers. A former U.S. Air Force imagery analyst, Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in management and computer information systems from Park University.
Vice President, Edge Compute
Randy Fields is chief technology officer and GM at Ultra I&C, where he leads the technology strategy behind the company’s mission software, AI-enabled tools and defense innovation. He brings more than two decades of experience across ISR, defense software, communications and intelligence programs, with a focus on building practical solutions for complex mission needs. A U.S. Navy veteran cryptologist, Randy has served as both an enlisted member and officer, giving him firsthand insight into the operational realities behind the technology. Randy also brings hundreds of hours of flight time as a systems operator in experimental aircraft, giving him a deep understanding of the manned and unmanned air domain.
Before joining Ultra I&C, Randy held senior leadership roles at Cubic Digital Intelligence, where he led product lines spanning GEOINT, C2ISR, machine learning-enhanced FMV and game-based training. He also held roles of increasing responsibility at Northrop Grumman across communications, intelligence and international programs. Randy holds a master’s degree in technical management and a graduate certificate in systems engineering from Johns Hopkins University, completed AI studies at MIT Sloan and completed the General Management Program at the Wharton School.
Vice President, Encryption
Greg Rudy is vice president and general manager of Encryption Management within Ultra I&C’s Mission Solutions division, where he leads the development and delivery of cryptographic solutions for COMSEC and critical infrastructure security. He brings more than 22 years of management and engineering experience, with a career focused on building cybersecurity solutions for government agencies and safety-critical industries. His work spans link, network, space and embedded applications, with a focus on solving complex security challenges for U.S. government customers.
Prior to Ultra I&C, Greg held key roles at Raytheon, Green Hills Software and SafeNet. He served as lead engineer for the U.S. Army’s first Type 1-certified tactical handheld and tablet computers, and has managed embedded cryptographic libraries and key management infrastructure products across the automotive, medical device, industrial control and military aerospace markets. Greg holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Vice President, Sales
Melissa Carter is vice president of sales for Mission Solutions at Ultra I&C, where she leads domestic and international growth across command and control, ISR integration, AI-enabled decision support and coalition interoperability. She brings more than 37 years of experience across military operations, tactical data links, intelligence integration and global defense sales. In her role, Melissa drives strategic sales, business development, capture management, international partnerships and customer engagement across the U.S. Department of Defense, allied militaries and global defense organizations.
A decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, Melissa served during Desert Storm and several subsequent conflicts, giving her firsthand insight into what warfighters need in contested environments. Her career has focused on building strong customer relationships, leading complex international pursuits and aligning operational requirements with practical technical solutions. She has deep experience across joint and coalition interoperability, integrated air and missile defense, AI/ML-enabled ISR-to-C2 workflows and tactical edge modernization. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in business management and is nearing completion of her MBA.
Vice President, Finance
Greg Daigle is vice president of finance at Ultra I&C, where he leads accounting and finance functions for the Mission Solutions business. He brings more than 20 years of defense industry finance experience across prime contractors and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. In his role, Greg helps drive strategic planning while maintaining the financial controls needed to support disciplined business growth.
Before joining Ultra I&C Mission Solutions, Greg worked at Ultra I&C Specialist RF, where he helped lead the successful sale of the business to CAES and prepared the business for sale to Honeywell. He previously held finance roles at Leidos, L3Harris, Mercury Systems and Raytheon. Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Michael’s College and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Clark University.
